Okay, so here is all the information on what an event is and where you find events. Well events as in Pokemon events are spacial arrangements where Pokemon fans can go and take part in something spacial. I am talking about Pokemon gaming events and no other type of events. Pokemon events are taken place all over the world Europe, United States, and Japan.

What Is A Pokemon Event?

A Pokemon gamin event is where Nintendo arrange gathering of Pokemon fans to meet and take part in spacial activities. Usually events are taken place to win prizes, these events are often battling events and the winning trainer wins cool Nintendo prizes. The most popular and common event is a Pokemon give away.

What Do You Mean By Pokemon Give Away?

What I mean by a Pokemon give away I mean the events purpose was to give out actual Pokemon or ways to get Pokemon. Nintendo have many ways on giving out Pokemon, they download the Pokemon onto your packs, they download tickets on to your games to go and get Pokemon from secret Islands, and they even trade Pokemon with you. In some way you will get some sort of Item or Pokemon.

Why Do They Give Pokemon Out?

There is one simple reason for this, to give you what you cannot get. Even though they probably make money from this by advertising merchandise and other stuff, the main reason of giving away spacial Pokemon and Tickets is to get the unobtainable and most wanted Pokemon. As you should know not all Pokemon can be caught by just playing the games.

What Pokemon Do They Give Out?

I guess they give out all the unobtainable. These Pokemon are Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Darkrai, Shaymin, and Arceus. Lugia and Ho-oh was also once unobtainable however you can get them from the GameCube games Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkeness. Also they recently in the past gave also speacil edition most wanted Pokemon like, Latias, and Latios, another common one is Pikachu with Light Ball and Surf.

What Tickets Do They Give Out?

They give out the following, Eon Ticket, Mystic Ticket, and Aurora Ticket. They have also started giving out other Items. They give out the Old Sea Map in Japan to get Mew from Faraway Island on Pokemon Emerald. Now the new Pokemon games Diamond and Pearl will be giving the Azure Flute, Oaks Letter, and the Members card. Well that's if they give them out anyway, they may just download them to your game or trade with you.

All the above events that's was used in my definitions where used because they are the passed give aways. They was for the GameBoy Advance games Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen. Except for the Azure Flute, Oaks Letter, and Members Cards as they have not been given out. Also I doubt all GameBoy Advance events will be happen again, with the new Ninetndo DS games they will knock the old games back.
